    This is a plea for help! I have been let down by a dressmaker who was supposed to be altering a dress and two pairs of trousers for a wedding on Friday. The trousers are for two little boys and they just need the hems taking up and the dress needs to be talked in about an inch - it's quite a plain dress so wouldn't think it would take too much work.     I I have purchased 2 dresses for my daughter as we couldn't choose which one she would wear from her Prom, unfortunately my daughter is not very tall and both dresses are way too long for her even in high shoes.
