This is a plea for help! I have been let down by a dressmaker who was supposed to be altering a dress and two pairs of trousers for a wedding on Friday. The trousers are for two little boys and they just need the hems taking up and the dress needs to be talked in about an inch - it's quite a plain dress so wouldn't think it would take too much work.
