We hold a Decree from Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court which was served on a Mrs Abbie Frew of 3 Whitefielf of Dun, Montrose by a firm of Sheriff Officers from Perth. Regrettably we were not impressed with their service and their advice to take monthly payments was agreed however only 2 payments were made in 8 months. She claims she is unemployed, separated from her husband, who pays her nothing, and survives with her ill daughter on benefits. We however have been advised anonymously by phone that she does still have her husband staying with her and that she works as a carer earning good money. Her original debt to us was incurred through her requiring high performance work carried out on her Volkswagen Golf GTi however I understand this vehicle is now off the road and she now has an Audi A3. We feel that in view of her behaviour we would like to instruct a firm of Sheriff Officers who do not simply listen to a sob story and makes a real effort to get this debt repaid { approx. £900], either via a satisfactory repayment plan or by having her current vehicle or any other assets sold. We do not have a Cylex account however understand this can be created for us.
