Hi , I’d like to ensure that my new dishwasher and refrigerator are connected safely and in accordance with electrical standards. At the moment, there’s only one wall socket in the kitchen (currently used by the refrigerator), and I’d like to avoid using any extension cables or plug splitters. The dishwasher hasn’t been installed yet — it’s scheduled for installation about a week after next. Before that, could someone please: Inspect the existing kitchen circuit to confirm whether it can safely handle both the dishwasher and the refrigerator. If not, install a dedicated 16A socket (and circuit if necessary) for the dishwasher, with proper grounding and protection. Verify that the refrigerator socket is on a separate or suitable circuit for continuous operation. Ensure that everything complies with local electrical codes and safety standards. New extractor installed by handyman but it only worked 30 min then stopped I am convinced it is just an electrical problem. Another issue: We’ve recently had the water tap opened accidentally during night and it flooded 2 levels of the house. The aftermath after letting everything dry out - lights in one room not working and the dishwasher still showing error E15 - not sure if this is in scope.Read more
