My wife (84) has had her dentures for twenty years or so. There have been attempts to replace them but both times the new plate was a very poor misfit and declined. The present upper plate has signs of wearing through in two places. My wife wants to keep the dentures and hopes the wear can be repaired by a Dental Technician and not via a dentist.
