  We have recently taken possession of 7 Gleneagles Close on the Monkton Park estate in Chippenham. The house has a single room downstairs with a separate kitchen, and an integral garage approx 21 ft by 9 feet. We are hoping to convert the garage to a living room. This will require a window (possibly a Velux window) for light and ventilation. Will we need planning permission for this? We don't need this done by Christmas!!
