    Had new alternator and battery fitted January 21; since then on at least 3 occasions been in situation where car slowed down and stopped or I had stopped but then couldn’t continue journey. RAC called and their report seems to indicates tracing back to alternator. Took car back to garage where fitted but they couldn’t find a fault. Although I’ve had car back over a week and it is working I’m concerned if I go onto motorway this happens to me again.Read more

    I have an Astra Elite Automatic. It is currently with my local garage but they believe it may be an electrical fault. Possibly near ignition? The car will not start. Battery fine and new starter. Looking for a quote for a mobile auto electrician to have a look at the car and hopefully find where the fault may be and let me know how much it would be to fix.
