Had new alternator and battery fitted January 21; since then on at least 3 occasions been in situation where car slowed down and stopped or I had stopped but then couldn’t continue journey. RAC called and their report seems to indicates tracing back to alternator. Took car back to garage where fitted but they couldn’t find a fault. Although I’ve had car back over a week and it is working I’m concerned if I go onto motorway this happens to me again.
