  Teddy bear restoration- I have my mother's early 1950s straw stuffed Steiff (style) bear, standup at a height of approx 12" His pads on his feet and arms are warn out some have been repaired but don't look right. He is a generally a bit tatty and dirty after almost 70 years, most of his fur has fallen out and his grow mechanism has stopped working. On the positive: All limbs are attached and move, his eyes are in place and his main stitching and stuffing is still mostly intact. But he does need a few replacement parts (his pads) and a general tidy & clean up and if possible a replacement growl. I can send photos upon request.Read more
