  Just received my payslip and my tax has increased by £400 my bottom line pay is now less that it was 4 years ago. Every year I seem to owe tax, last years was £1800 yet I pay tax on my 4 weekly wages every period. Really struggling to understand why this is the case and with an increase in tax and NI nearly 50% now being deducted.
