I am seeking a brief independent inspection and written opinion regarding progressive settlement to my block-paved driveway and cracking to my boundary wall.     Following a recent house survey I have had done on a Victorian property, I have been advised to get a structural engineer to check the stability of a support in the roof that has been put in to repair a split ridge beam.
