Beam 1 Spec: 203 x 133 x 25 UB, Length 3980mm / 13' 11/16" Beam 2 Spec: 152 x 89 x 16 UB, Length 2470mm / 8' 1 1/4" 3x C30 Concrete Padstones min. 440w x 100b x 150dp 2x 100x100x10 Cleat (120lg) bolted to both supported and supporting beams using M16 bolts All steelwork to be Grade 5335 to BS EN 10025 &- BS 5950. All steelwork to receive 75 microns of high build zinc phosphate primer. (equiv to 2 coats) Steelwork supporting outer leaf to have additional 2 coats of RIW. All timber to be regularised and minimum grade C16 unless noted otherwise All steel bolts to be Grade 8.8 All welds to be 6mm full depth welds. 150mm on, 150mm off for long lengths. Steel beams connected onto supporting flange where possible. All cleated connection to be a min of 2 No. H16 Gr. 8,8 bolts to each side of the connection.Read more
