My mother is ill and in a Care Home , due to loss of awareness and ablement she was placed into care and has been assessed by Cornwall County Council. I have been advised by Cornwall Council Social Care that this is the best place she can be due to her medical condition.They are funding her Care for the time being and I have been advised to arranged Power of Attorney. Can you please give me an idea of costs involved with this process and what arrangements I need to make . My mothers home is in FALMOUTH and I being her eldest son live further North in Glasgow .
