    I have lived in France for many years but I am now alone and would like to come home to Southport to rent a sheltered apartment. My Daughter and her Family live there. I will be62 in May and I have just had a visit to the Cardiologist and was told I was amazing with no Problems. OnWednesday this week I am having tummy scan as I had Colin cancer 5 years ago and I want ro make sure I have no problems there either. I am very fit and I completely look after myself and do my own cooking. Before Covi I was making bed quilts for children in Africa and I will again when we are allowed to send them. I also make lots of Christmas and birthday cards. Can you please let me know 1, if you would accept me 2,what I would need to know .     I am looking for sheltered accommodation for my brother who is 84 and currently living by himself in a flat .He is physically able but now finding it difficult to cope and an element of supervision would be desirable. He agrees. A bedsit would satisfy his present needs. He is currently OK with stairs of reasonable length. He has limited means but I think he has above the threshold for claiming local authority assistance- I need to check this. Therefore I am assuming that renting will be the first option.Read more
