My partner and I have had a survey on completed on a house we're purchasing. One of the points raised was in regard to the guttering at the read which is used to drain from the bathroom. The survey states: "The down pipes discharge directly into the underground pipes with no access for cleaning. The sectional concrete guttering is stained to the joints and may be leaking. Waste pipes from the bath and basin discharge into a rear rain water gulley. This is not an acceptable arrangement." My partner and I were wondering whether this is something that needs sorting sooner rather than later, what would need doing and how much this would cost. We have a viewing booked for Saturday 24th July at 10:15 if it's best to see it in person. We have been given permission for a tradeperson to attend. Alternatively photos can be sent over once we have been to the viewing. Thanks Alex
