My property has a loft converted bedroom. A sewage vent pipe runs through one of the eaves cupboards but has been poorly put together using flexible ducting attached to rigid pipes with tape. In the last year, we have been experiencing an increasing amount of noxious odours in our flat which is concentrated within this cupboard space. The vent pipe needs to have the flexible ducting replaced with proper rigid tubing to stop fumes entering our home.. The system also needs checking for blockages and leaks elsewhere.
