I am looking for a fireguard to cover an opening to a fireplace with a wood-burning stove. We have two very active kittens/cats who could climb up and over a normal fireguard, so I am looking for something that will easily attach to the wall (and still be able to open/get to fill the wood burner) as well as prevent them climbing up and over the guard. It would be great if it was attractive as well as functional! I guess it could be 2 sides, a front and a shaped top or flat to core the opening - as long as it could be easily attached and removed from the wall either side of the opening. The opening is 73 cm wide by 69 cm high.
