Hi, We are looking for help with a small carpentry job that we need to get done on a used oak desk. The desk is currently too low to the ground for me to fit my knees under the top of the desk. We would like to have the small cross bar (supporting the draw) carefully cut out, then unfinished ends left behind on the desk finished off cosmetically, and the cross bar ends also finished, and attached onto the bottom of the drawer (again, cosmetically).
