I'm building a single-storey extension on the back of my house. My surveyor has asked me to find a soil specialist to undertake a borehole to a depth of about 10 metres, prepare a factual and an interpretative report for possibility of a bored piled foundation to mobilise a working load of about 15 KN reaction.
