Dear Sir or Madam, First I would like to introduce myself. My name is John Schreij and I live in the Netherlands. Since July 2014, my wife has a permanent job as a lecturer at the university of Exeter. She now lives in a temporary rented apartment. Based on her salary, it is possible to get around £ 170,000 mortgage to buy a house. I have oriented me on the house prices in Exeter, and have come to the conclusion that a fixer-upper would be most appropriate for her. I am contractor, and in 2015 I can spend five months to renovate a property. I will be in Exeter from 14 to 20 november , and I'd like to visit a number of possible properties. My idea is to spend around £ 110,000 on the property, and to spend on the renovation. £ 50,000 The idea is to purchase a building that is at a reasonable distance from the Univ.
