My washing machine and the boiler has currently broken down. So, I need my clothes washed once a week! Which is a mix of colours, darks and whites.. also 2 double duvet sheets ans pillow cases, 4 towels and 3 thin couch throws.. However, I do require a one off clean of: 1 double duvet cover and 4 pillows, I also have 2 thick jackets needing washed just on this 1 occasion.. * my green parka jacket needs washed separately in 3 parts.. the outside and the whooly inside and the white fur for the hood. It is a heavy jacket and after numerous washes over 2 years has still held a damp smell*..My partners thick black jacket also needs washed just the once. My clothes and my mans are only small sizes.. some of our clothes like tracksuits and items with prints are meant to be washed at 30°C and on a low dry.. the rest are ok for normal washes and drys.. I wanted to basically know the cost for 1 washing each week: for clothes, towels and the thin throws.. ? It is not lots of stuff. I would say 1 black bin bag or 2 half full would be the amount. The 1st washing I require will be a larger amount than the usual weekly amount needing done. I live in Troon town (Portland street). Do they offer a pick it up and drop service (like they do at salons). ? as I do not drive.. I hope what I have wrote is understanding enough to be able to give a rough price guide. I have never used dry Cleaners and laundrette services before for personal reasons; only when I worked in Capello hairdressers and we got the towels done each week. I would just like to know the prices and the services they provide.. a price guide would be handy.. Thank you.
