Closed Mobility Scooter Repairs

I bought 2 mobile scooters 1 for my self and 1 for my wife we have not got to use them they was put in the shed for now about 13 months however i put them both on charge monday 23rd march i see they was both charged but come to move either one they both wont go if i play with the smaller one it will go for about 25 yards and stop i have no idea why this has occurred has they both worked well when purchased, they were both secondhand.
