Our English Springer Spaniel is 7 yrs old and although a very friendly dog with people he is aggressive with other dogs. This came on at about the age of 2 and although he has little contact with other dogs he did as a puppy. I have heard about the rage issue with some spaniels and this does seem to fit with his behaviour when confronted by other dogs, even young or very small ones. I would be grateful for your opinion as to whether this can be corrected with training or medication. Please advise. Thank you. Lynne Chilvers
