A toddlers low back Windsor chair possibly beech wood bought 40 years ago for our son. A workman in recent years used it to as a stepping stool and split the top curve of the hoop in several places and in one part causing it to separate for about 5mm down and 6/7cm long. We now have a 1 year old grandchild and would like to know if it can be repaired to hand down. It is not antique and is just of sentimental value. I can send a photograph if anyone is interested.
