Dad is 90, query vascular dementia (trying to get diagnosis). COPD, angina, type 2diabetes, registered blind (can see limited vision) catheterised, falls and has hallucinations. Still got some mental capacity and wanting to keep as much independence as possible. Currently staying at Elm Tree House care home in Mewton but doesn’t like it, feels too restrained. Would he be suitable for supported living and are there any vacancies? He would be self funding. I’m his eldest daughter, POA applied for, dad did the forms a couple of weekends ago.
