I have spilt “Sticky stuff remover” on my carpet and have 2 dinner plate size areas which appear to have stretched. There is no visible patches but could the lamination be affected? The patches are about 3 feet from the wall. The carpet is approx 5 years old and I can’t afford to replace it. Can this be repaired/restretched or cleaned? Many thanks
