Closed Plastic guttering repair - multiple leaks

Our plastic guttering is in good condition except at the joins, where it is leaking in 5 places around a two-story 1930s semi. A tradesperson came to quote and said the plastic rings likely need replaced. They are unable to do the work until Spring. We want to repair it ASAP to reduce any risk of ingress in two areas.
