My dog has been diagnosed with glaucoma ( told by vet the lens has completely gone and he is blind in that eye) and that he needs it removed however I’ve had a really bad bad experience with Purbrook vets,they wanted to do numerous other tests etc and postponed his operation as he’s thyroid marker was one mark above what was acceptable ( after I reluctantly agreed to some blood tests! )my dog is 11 years old and I want his eye removed, with no more prior tests etc I realise there is a risk with general anaesthetic at his age and that he may not come round from the anaesthetic but am willing to take the risk, as I believe he is in a lot of pain from his condition. I would like quotes on the total cost of this operation please from local vets who would be willing to undertake this operation without any other testing/blood tests etc. I live in Purbrook. Please do NOT include quotes from Purbrook Veterinary practice as they are the vets with whom I have had the bad experience with! Thank you
