Closed Garage Doors

I have an ESSATI garage door, which operates fine. The door width is 450 cms. However the manual override is not effective. Fitter and stronger men than me have tried to use the manual override and have failed. Can you help me by suggesting a cure. Thanks in advance, for any aid. John Griffin
