Our house was built 5 years ago and is on a short drive off London Rd Godmanchester. The first half of the drive is horizontal and has proved easy to maintain. The drive within our garden walls slopes down to the front of the house. Both sections of the drive are gravel. The section inside the garden has not been prepared well, there is a weed free membrane that is breaking up and the depth of the gravel is minimal in some areas.My personal view is that I would like the gravel in the inner area stripped, the remnants of the weed membrane removed,the gravel depth made deeper and perhaps plastic traps round the edges to stop the inexorable drift of gravel down to the front of the house.
