Hi there. I am making enquiries on behalf of my 77 year old mother. She has recently been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis. This has limited her mobility and she complains of numbness and a burning sensation in her legs. She spends a lot of time in an orthopeadic chair unable to move very far and for only short periods of time. Her GP is prescribing pain management until she is able to get an opinion from a spinal surgeon. However the fact that she has not been moving around for many months has meant she has lost the strength in her legs. She lives in Northfield, Birmingham B31. Any treatment would need to be at her home.
