I'm looking for some help/advice. My 63 year old father has become homeless after being unable to continue to live with a relative just due to lack of space as kids grow older. He is on the list to bid for council properties, but is band 2 so not priority. The council have said he has a housing benefit budget up to £450 in order to find lodgings, so we are looking for somewhere clean and safe that will rent him a room with Bill's included, ideally for that amount if possible. Can anyone suggest any house shares in Tamworth that could accommodate this? He is working hard on getting his HGV license and should shortly be back into employment after winding down his old business, so his financial situation should improve shortly, but until then, the landlord would need to accept DSS.
