Hi, my name is Paul Riley, myself and my ex wife have recently had an offer for a house jointly own by the both of us,both names on the mortgage and deeds my wife currently occupies the property with my 2 children.the buyer is due to move in 8 weeks but before then the signing by myself and ex wife is to take place.the issue I have is my ex wants me to sign but wants the money from the sale goeing into her bank account,but I have insisted I want my share to be transferred to my account by the solicitor acting as the conveyancer. Where do my rights stand on this matter, kind regards Mr Paul Riley.
