A second opinion on a possible ear perforation. I was seen last Wednesday by a NHS practitioner after I used a Boots ear syringe to remove wax from my ear. I was given antibiotics for a possible ear infection. After 5 days the pain had actually increased. Yesterday I contacted the GP and was told to try an antibiotic spray which I have now used 4 times. I haven’t noticed any discharge from my ear. I have greatly reduced hearing in that ear, loud ringing, intermittent stabbing pain in my ear, as well as other parts of my head. I also have a sore throat. I’d like a quote for a 2nd opinion consultation.
