I'm self employed and work for an agency on the roads as a tmo, I just need my full year 2019-20 sorting out, I'm out of work at the minute because of the pandemic, I do not know when I will be at work again, I will have to wait to see what Boris will say at the weekend. I have been doing my own self assessments since 2014 and only starting working on the roads from February of last year, I was with another agency accountant called hindsight until last July but there weekly charge was too high for what they did, they charged me between £30-40 weekly, which I thought was too high, so I stopped doing business with them, I have had no accountant since July, I know I can do this myself but after all of the years I have done this, I have never claimed for anything so it has left me wondering, what can I claim for?, no other years need working out, just 2019-20, as all other years have been submitted to HMRC, so it is the last year only.................I have never ever really thought about what options in accounting are open to me before because I have always tried to sort it out myself but this year I thought I would give an accountant a chance to see if I can be any better off..........I know I will have to pay for your services, but I have already been ripped off once by one accountant, I am hoping that this is not the case for every accountant out there..........if your price I will end up paying is cheap enough, I may use it yearly...........if its too high, it will be this year only..........we shall have to see, what your terms are, this is only a request at the minute I have not signed my name to anything as of yet............regards for now.....Nick
