Firstly, I am the vehicle owner’s neighbour, responsible for the damage and am happy to pay for the repairs. Ideally, this would not be via the insurance if possible but I appreciate that may be unavoidable. I reversed into the driver’s side door and have caused denting and scratching to the bodywork. The door is still able to be closed and therefore the vehicle is driveable.
