I have a Stainless exhaust manifold and silencer for a Hillman Imp and wonder if it would be worthwhile to have it ceramic coated inside ( & out ??) to keep down the "heat soak" as the manifold and silencer are close to the engine and carbs. The engine bay is also fairly enclosed and so holds the heat especially went parking up after a run. I can send you a photo if that will help.
