I had a dynamic hip screw fitted after fracturing my hip in November 2017. I started having sporadic pain or weakness in it. An x ray at the end of the year was clear. A further x ray in April 2019 appeared to show avascular necrosis but this was contradicted by a different consultant in October 2019. This week I had a further x ray which was also clear. The consultant suggested my continuing pain and limp could be muscular. I would like an assessment of this. I am physically active swim 3 plus times a week, cycle,walk and do specific exercises recommended by an NHS physio.
