I need a 1 bedroomed flat in the Herne Bay area. I am a single, working lady who suffers with arthritis, diabetes and anxiety. I need somewhere where I can feel secure, calling for support if I need to. I am relocating from Southampton to be nearer those who can help me as I have no-one in Southampton. This has caused a lot of anxiety recently and I need to be nearer my family. I currently have a cat which I inherited but understand that not all schemes allow animals. If necessary, I will have him re-homed as my own health must come first. I am currently independent and do not require care. I am mobile but sometimes rely on a walking stick, therefore, I can be housed on any level as long as there is a lift. I'm not good with stairs. My anxiety means that I need to live in a secure environment and feel safe, hence my reason for applying for sheltered accommodation. I will thrive in a small community and have been an entertainer in sheltered accommodation schemes for 30 years.
