• Sandwood Care Home, posted on Thursday 23 January 2020 Hi Ian, Thank you for your interest. I would really like the opportunity to speak about your parents needs and requirements a little more. I work for The Abbeyfield Society and I believe one of our homes named Sycamore House may be ideal. It is a large residential home that also has its own dementia specific wing. This may be an ideal for them so that they can live in the same property but receive the specific care they individually need. All of our meals are prepared and cooked within the home with fresh ingredients and our care team can assist where needed when eating and it is monitored. Of course this is the case with hygiene also.
