I've recently purchased what once was a rented property which had a completely flagged garden. Last year my partner and I dug out half the flags to make space for an allotment, however it nearly killed us so we're looking for assistance with the other half. There is an area of just under 30 square foot that will need the flags lifting, digging over etc and turf being laid. The flags aren't actually fixed to the ground so they come up pretty easy. Along two sides of this area there is an existing flower bed that was left to go wild. There are a few bushes etc that I'd like digging out and the area just made a little nicer so I can put in my own plants. There are other jobs that need doing however, due to cost, it's likely they will need doing at a later date. For reference, these are: - A small conifer style tree needs chopping down. - There is a random concrete post at the bottom of the garden that is used for a washing line, I'd like this removing. - There is a concrete path that runs down the middle of the garden (previous owners loved concrete). I'd like this removing or covering up or something to make it less of an eye sore. Am open to suggestions. - At some point I would like a seating area put in. Possibly decking. I also have a decent number of flags left from doing the first half of the garden. Whoever gets the job is welcome to them.
