Hi, my name is janet wilkinson I am 59 years old and I lost my job in may.and have not been able to get another job yet. I am looking all the time. I live in a 3 bed private rented house which is much too big for me and I cant really afford to have the gas and electricity on alot as I really need a small flat as I am on my own and the only family I have is a daughter in london. I am struggling in this big house now she has moved out I have tried to get a flat from the council but they say I have to wait until I am 60 years old but I need help now before I become homeless.
