I should like 'in care help' (ie one, two or three week stay for help with addiction to alcohol and Zopiclone). I have had help before, in the form of AA meetings, but it seemed to me that AA was "not for me"; I realise I have to take responsibility but the meetings did not seem to help me. Also, at huge expense, I attended 'Abbeycare' in Glasgow last August, 2018. Immediately upon arrival I was deprived of my Zopiclone (I had 4 tablets, prescribed by my doctor) in my handbag. My doctor had also given me 5 more paper prescriptions, anticipating that Abbeycare would obtain them for me, to last me for my 6 week stay; these were also not allowed. I did not sleep for more than two weeks and was by then so exhausted that I left voluntarily; for this I paid over £2,000.000. I am now completely addicted to Zopiclone and am purchasing them from the Internet, in addition to receiving my "proper prescription" from my doctor. I also take antidepressents and Vitamin B tablets. Please can you help? Any NHS facility in or near London would be perfect, or even one furhter afield. I am a 70 year old single woman with no dependents, so travel distance is no problem. Thank you in advance, Kind regards, Barbara Thomas. (Miss).
