There are a number of tall Silver Birch trees that lean over the boundary between my land and my neighbour' s garden. My neighbour would like these to be reduced in height so that they do not overhang the boundary. This will require both shortening/removing branches and reducing the height of the trees. My understanding of the law is that my neighbour should pay for this but I may be willing to share the cost. No material needs to be removed from site but I would like the smaller stuff chipped/shredded; I can use the chippings on-site and the larger pieces of branch/trunk can be left on-site. Postcode is ST15 8SW. I want qualified tree surgeons not garden maintenance people.
