My parents have taken out a "Equity Release" mortgage - which is horrendous. I want to pay off the loan, however, I need some legal security that I will get the money back when they pass away, as there are others in the Will. In addition, I can't trust my parents - as they may take out another mortgage! So I would like some sort "charge" over the property. I don't want anything in the will going forward, just the money back. My plan would be to provide them the money to pay off the mortgage once they sign a legal document.
