I have a cellar which is open to back lane (back) and underground front. Originally it had a coal hole and window to front which has been closed off (plastic covers it). The cellar is damp and wood/plaster is rotting/blown in places. I'm looking to solve the problem at minimum to opening up the front again to make a more light and usable space.
