I have a concrete floor in my lounge which has some bitumen adhesive remaining. I am thinking of a timber or stone floor but need to prepare the base e.g. latex or underlay etc. The house is an 1850's timber framed cottage with concrete floors to the ground floor now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Steve.
