I have been advised to have a MRI scan on my lower back spinal area following a fall up a flight of stairs, which has left me in pain, especially when trying to get up from a prone position and also after walking for some time during the day. I have tried 4 times to go through the MRI scan at my local hospital but without success as I am inclined to claustrophobia. I am a woman of 74 years, in reasonably good health. I have heard of your procedure in an Upright Scanner from an article in the SOUTH WALES ECHO and concerning dates I am able to be flexible.
