I am emailing from Australia. My brother Harvey Turner passed away just before Christmas 2018 in a Hospice following lung cancer. I have his address in Walkeringham and his DOB. I have requested and paid for on line a copy of his death certificate from Nottinghamshire Council but am awaiting a response. I have difficulties with his wife and cannot find out who his solicitor is and who the executors are of his estate I would also like to have a copy of his will. His wife (Legally married) still resides at Harveys address but all attempts to communicate by various means have failed. I need legal services to obtain this information both on my own behalf and on behalf of his son Damion with whom he had a poor relationship but whom would probably be a beneficiary of Harveys estate. If you could help in this regard I would be responsible for the fees for legal service service. I need an assurance that such a request for information would without doubt be successful without prolonged legal action.

As you have stated, you brothers wife has survived him therefore one would assume that his estate would have naturally cascaded to her unless a Will specifies otherwise. You may wish to try www.Certainty.co.uk to see if there is a Will and if you are an executor; without this confirmation, you have no rights, nor his son I'm afraid.
