Hi I have recently moved into a house in High Heaton, Newcastle - and have transferred my existing BT TV and Broadband contract to the property. Having connected the TV up however, I have found the aerial socket does not work - in fact when the previous owners switched to Virgin TV it seems apparent that Virgin have cut the cables to the old aerial. Hence I need to purchase a new TV aerial and provide connections into 2 different rooms in the house. I contacted BT directly who sent round contractors from an affiliate company (quoting £169 for the job) - but who on arrival at the property told my fiancee they had reservations fitting an aerial to the roof as we have solar panels on the front and limited roof access at the back. They did not consider the possibility to put an aerial in the loft as far as I am aware. Hence, I am contacting three or four local firms to establish if this is a service you think you could provide and if so what the quote and timings would be to supply and fit a working aerial into two rooms in the house.
